Brandlab is born of a humble honours student from the Falmouth School Of Art called James McKenzie Stanton. While simultaneously studying and working as a junior designer, James saw a gap in the market when almost every firm he worked with dared not to be too creative for fear of being ostracized. This common desire to ‘play it safe’ frustrated James so much, it inspired him to start BRANDlab the moment he graduated.
Built on a foundation of creative flare, BRANDlab’s vision is committed to helping clients push their ideas through implementation. Using optimised technology to streamline every aspect of engagement in a way that empowers their organisation to be bold and not ‘just another player in their industry.
Since swinging open its doors in 1996, BRANDlab has been at the helm of design and implementation for multi-million dollar projects including IBM Interface Experience Studio Dubai, creating its world-class Artificial Intelligence, User Experience, User Integration & Customer Experience offerings. In addition to these projects, James has also led Citibank, Etihad, UAE Government, and ADIB Digital Transformation programs.
James has had the pleasure of heading up the Ogilvy Design Team and winning every digital account on offer from Coca-Cola and all associated brands in the Australian portfolio. James’s proven talent for design and leadership has also won a number of global campaigns at, JWT LONDON, DDB, M&C SAATCHI LONDON, M&C SAATCHI SYDNEY, TONIC, POKE LONDON, AKQA LONDON and DARE DIGITAL.
Now based in the Northern Beaches of Sydney Australia, BRANDlab’s international prowess spans over 25years, developing and creating digital solutions across the playgrounds of East London UK, Sydney Australia, Auckland New Zealand, Dubai, Abu Dhabi UAE, New York and Tokyo Japan.
